VALERYD X-Tech brake shoes are made with a process where the brake lining is heat and pressure set into the steel. The lining fills X-shaped grooves in the backplate and is locked mechanically. This delivers high wear resistance and stable braking performance even under heavy load.
Mechanical anchoring without adhesive allows VALERYD to offer a lifetime guarantee against brake lining separation. The guarantee does not cover normal lining wear.
Complete brake shoe set for Knott 250x40 axle pair
With the set, all necessary brake components on both wheels are replaced in a single operation. Brake shoes, expanders and adjustment parts wear in parallel and should be replaced at the same time. Check the brake drum during replacement and replace if worn outside tolerance. Check brake adjustment and that all fasteners are secure after installation.
